Furusato is one of Japan's most beloved folk songs evoking a deep nostalgia for one's homeland. Inspired by its timeless themes I composed a new piece that blends traditional sentiment with modern imagery. This work presents a subtle resonance between the enduring spirit of furusato and the landscapes and emotions of today.(The English translation of the lyrics is provided below.)
