Introducing Sounds (Beta), a new mode that lets you create individual one-shot samples and loops from scratch!
Sounds (Beta) is currently available for Pro and Premier members only
How to use Sounds mode:
Need an airhorn sample, glass smash or airplane for your track, or footsteps for your foley project? We’ve got you covered — choose ‘one-shot’, type your prompt and hit Create.
Want a specific loop, like a guitar riff, a bass line or synth lick to start an idea, or add to an existing Studio session? Choose loop, select your key and tempo (bpm) and describe the sound you want.
Sounds you generate cost 2 credits per click.
To find the new feature, go to Create, choose Sounds from the Custom dropdown and make that sound you hear in your head come to life!

We recently made an update to our Knowledge Base (FAQ)
and it didn't clearly describe ownership on our platform.
We appreciate that so many of you picked up on this and that you care so deeply.
So, we want to clarify: you do own the Output you make
in the Pro and Premier plans and you are granted commercial rights to use those Outputs.
For the Basic (free) plan,
Suno is the owner of the Outputs you create, and you are allowed to use them for non-commercial purposes.
We have reverted our Knowledge Base back to its previous version to reflect this,
and you should know the Knowledge Base article updates did
not change anything about ownership of Outputs while they were live.
For more information on Output ownership and Suno in general,
please consult our Terms of Service, which was last updated on November 6, 2025.
You’ve been added to our updated Persona flow. Updated Personas capture a song’s vocal identity more accurately than the legacy version, giving you more reliable results when you create.
How to create an Updated Persona
Go to Create → + Persona → Create New Persona
Select a base song (vocals will be stemmed automatically if present)
Choose the vocal time range you want to capture
Add metadata (optional) and save
How to update a Legacy Persona
Go to Create → + Persona → find any legacy Persona, then select Update to v5 on the Persona row
Important notes
Prompts that worked well in v5 may not translate directly, so we recommend experimenting fresh
Slider settings will likely need retuning with this update

We will be introducing content from WMG artists who opt in for the use of their names, images, likenesses, voices, and compositions to be used in new AI-generated music. These will be new creation experiences from artists who do opt in, which will open up new revenue streams for them… and allow you to interact with them in new ways. You’ll be able to build around participating artists’ sounds and ensure they get compensated.
Downloads, quality and safety
We know being able to download the songs you make in Suno is very important to the Suno community, and that functionality isn’t going away. Moving forward, a paid Suno account will be required to download songs from the product, with each paid tier enabling a specific number of downloads each month (with more details to be shared soon).
Studio remains our pro powerhouse
Suno Studio will continue to be our most powerful creation tool and will remain untouched, including unlimited download functionality. If you rely on Studio for advanced workflows, that experience is staying as is, with exciting new feature rollouts ahead.
What's next
Over the next few weeks and months, we’ll share more details about the timing of new features as they are ready.

Feature Update: Tempo Locked Stems 🔒
Hi all! For those who are deep into using Stems on Suno, you may have run into some tempo drift that can make it difficult to time-align within a DAW. To address this, we’re introducing Tempo Locked Stems. By selecting Tempo Locked before downloading, we’ll analyze the average BPM and adjust the timing to stay locked to the grid! If you don’t need it to be perfectly lined up, no need to check the box. If you prefer to have a more precise version, just choose Tempo Locked!
The new Tempo Locked Stems option is available now for Pro and Premier subscribers- if you're using Stems, give it a shot and let us know what you think!

What's next for free users?
You can trust that we still want to give a great experience to users who aren't subscribed. If you're not on a paid plan, you'll still have access to v3.5, and will have something new to check out soon!

What's being deprecated:
v2 and v3 models - No longer available for free users
Remaster v4 - Deprecated for all users
Please note:

If you have active projects with the older models, please migrate to newer models before deprecation!

Our newer models deliver superior audio quality, faster generation, and better prompt understanding.

Artist Profiles are now available for suno.com users!
🔁 You can now reorder the sections on your profile
📌 You can now pin up to 10 songs
🖼️ You can add a cover photo to your profile

Miss the old view? Just hit “See More” in the songs sections!
Another part of this update that deserves its own line is user-level blocking.
Beyond just blocking comments, you can now block users from viewing your profile.
Visit the page of the user, click the (…) More Actions button then choose Block
iOS users can check the App Store for the latest update which includes improvements along with features like Mentions that were previously released on our web version!
@everyone For the first time, you can remix tracks across Suno—not just your own.
Tap More Actions (...) next to a song, hit Remix, and choose to Cover,
Extend, or Reuse Prompt to make it yours. You’ll be able to see every
remix made from a track—so no one loses sight of the source material.
Want full control? Toggle Remix permissions on or off anytime.

The Friday Fix
Hey all! It’s been just over a week since our v4.5 launch, and I hope many of you have already given it a shot! We’ve received lots of great feedback so far, and as always there’s plenty to address. I thought I’d make this week’s update more like an acknowledgement of common issues, but wanted to also remind our iOS users to check the post above about new sharing- you can expect that same kind of share experience across more platforms soon!
Now, let’s dive in with some of the trouble spots:
Edit tasks not finishing/refreshing (web)
If you’re using our new Edit page, you may have sat waiting for the status bar to reload automatically (there’s even a little clickable note about refreshing). If you get stuck, click over to your Library- you will almost always see the finished product there!
Personas sound different/not working as expected
There was a similar feeling when going from v3.5 to v4, and some feedback around v4.5 has been that previous personas don’t work as well. In my personal opinion, I’d want to have separate personas for each model. Since each model handles styles differently and has a unique sonic profile, it would also make sense that Personas would sound different across each. I’d recommend making some great music in v4.5 then creating new personas from those songs! Also, keep the older personas in case you create in v4, etc.
Remaster doesn’t sound as good/ sound is muffled, etc.
I tie these together because I think a solution here could be the same. If you don’t love the results of Remaster, give Cover a shot instead! You don’t have to change or add any style info if you want to keep the song similar, or change it up and keep the melody the same.
With people who feel their output is muffled, I’d also point toward Cover first to try to get a bigger variant in output (and hopefully something more interesting to your ears) than the gentle rebuild that a Remaster typically provides.
I hope these are helpful tips! As always, these features are being worked on by the team, and we’ve also received plenty of insight to inspire some changes to the model itself. If you have more feedback, visit suno.com and click More from Suno > Feedback to send details to us!

all your creations -- we’re answering the call.
Explore Suno Workspaces and keep
your catalog of sounds in order.
Here’s how it works:
1 - When you go to create your next song,
look under the prompt box and click
‘Create a new Workspace’
. From there you’ll be able to create,
curate, and organize your songs.
2 - Any song you remix will automatically be
saved to the same workspace as the original,
but you can always move it if
that doesn’t work for your curation style.
Tip: Multi-select songs by holding shift and
clicking on several songs. Then right
click to move songs in bulk to a workspace.
